SMS Retriever API and Automatic OTP Detection

To streamline the authentication process, our app uses Google’s SMS Retriever API to automatically detect the OTP sent to your device. The SMS Retriever API allows our app to retrieve the OTP without requesting permission to access your SMS inbox. This ensures that the app does not read or access any other SMS messages on your device.

Data Handling and Retention

The OTP sent to your device is used solely for the purpose of verifying your phone number during authentication. Once the verification process is complete, the OTP is discarded and not stored by our app. Your phone number may be securely stored as part of your user profile, in accordance with our data retention policies, and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
